When the big yellow house in the alps, became to the Ignition House, we got an old restaurante in it. After way too much big partys with too less space for everybody, in 2003 we started to think about a own bar. How cool would it be to have a own bar right next to the shop? The idea was born.
Sebastion finished his apprenticeship as cook and worked in the hotel business. So he already knew about this kind of things and had enough motivation to make this happen.
After 6 month of building the IGNITION BAR was reality and the party could start. The concept – Skateshop + Bar – worked out and is till today unbeatable. The bar is well known in the whole area and in the rolling scene all over the world. Nearly every DJ or Band who asked, could play there and over the years a lot of Ignition happenings went down there. BBQ´s, Video premiers, contests, just parties, sessions and so on. After the incredible Misled Media party, we had to close the bar for 9 month to renovate it. Nearly everything got destroyed there.

Today the bar is a “VIP Bar” and not open for everybody anymore. It’s a strong element of the shop and we’re using it for different other things like eating, chilling there for some beers, holding our beer cold and so on.

Nothing really changed because the bar is still important for all the events we have here. Sleepingplaces for people and partys for sure.

Its hard to describe everything.
Its just like Jon Julio said: “You must have to experience that.”
